I'm Hannah. I live in Aotearoa New Zealand with my husband and three children. I love to cook and bake yummy and healthy food for my whanau, including gluten and dairy free treats for my eldest child. My first born was a very unsettled baby; he hardly slept, cried a lot and the only thing that seemed to settle him was breastfeeding. Eventually we figured out he was intolerant to dairy and gluten. Within 48 hours of cutting out gluten and dairy from my diet he was a different baby. He slept more than 20 minute intervals, the colic decreased and he unclenched his little fists as his whole body relaxed. At first I felt overwhelmed with having to overhaul my diet. I lost quite a lot of weight as I tried to figure out what I could and could not eat. Any mistake was met with a screaming, wakeful baby - further sapping me of energy. Thankfully we got through it and I now have a collection of delicious and simple gluten and dairy free recipes to share. I like being creative but with three young children, I often lack the time and energy for creative outlets.
